Falcon Restaurant in Winslow

It’s been here forever and it looks like an original restaurant on the original Route 66. The service we had by Sharon was friendly and warm. Food was very delicious and the chicken fried steak was not frozen but prepared here. Truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Prices are great and now we have the best breakfast place on our yearly trips to Winslow’s car show. Thanks Falcon staff from our server to the cooks to the kind hostess as we paid.

Solid piece of American diner. Outstanding service and friendly staff. Excellent food with generous servings. Classic setting. My family often chooses these places because, well, this is local culture and Falcon will not disappoint. When going through Winslow, for Pete's sake dont eat at a chain with heat lamp food and old fried grease. Support families and locals such as this one! Will definitely stop again as this makes a great lunch destination midway between Albuquerque and Phoenix. Loved it!

If you are going to stand on a corner in Winslow, make your way to the Falcon. Great Mexican and American food. Another 60’s leftover on Route 66, servings are big and tasty. May look older, but it’s clean. Homemade pies look amazing. Make sure to ask for Arthur to be your server. He rawks!

I had country fried steak and eggs.It was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Sarah was polite, courteous, and quick.The serving was more than adequate for the price, I have a very healthy appetite and I was extremely satisfied.

Glad to find this historic spot in Winslow! The staff made us feel right at home. The menu has your choice of popular breakfast selections. My wife ordered chorizo and eggs. I had a choice of steaks, so I went for the rib eye plus eggs. Thank you!

Stopped thru here for lunch on our way to see the Standin' on the Corner sign. Food was decent but pretty much what you would expect in a small town. Nothing fancy. Husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak. The rest of our meals were just ok. Service was pretty slow and not the friendliest. Seemed kinda pricey to me for the quality of food and flavor.

The Breakfast Food was Great. Hot and Fresh. Home cooking! Pancakes were good ones! Sausage was Delicious! Hashbrowns were perfect! Bacon was cooked perfectly! Every one working was Very nice and friendly. Great experience!

FIRST TIME GOING THERE IN THE 2 YEARS I'VE LIVED IN WINSLOW FOR A BIRTHDAY PARTY. ATMOSPHERE WAS RETRO BUT NICE. AMBIANCE WAS COOL. PEOPLE STAFF VERY FRIENDLY. THIS RESTAURANT HAS A SEPARATE BAR AREA WHICH IS SMALL BUT FUN. FOOD WAS AWESOME AND DELICIOUS BUT MY FRIENDS UNCLE IS THE COOK THO STILL VERY GOOD. ITS A DEFINITE MUST TRY AGAIN AND SIT AND HAVE A FEW COLD ONES IN THE BAR.

We visited Winslow on March 19, 2016. This is a gem. Definitely wouldn't know that by the run down look, inside and out, but the food is on point. My boys, picky little eaters, ate their breakfast! That made this mommy happy. Sat in the corner booth. Great room for them to move about without distracting other patrons. Five of us and it wasn't that pricey either. We'll be back this March!Side note, we are new to the whole sit yourself, so do that and get cozy with the locals!

If you want the true flavor of a route 66 diner here you go. Nothing fancy just clean, great food, friendly staff. Breakfast, lunch. Or dinner all are great. Worth getting off I-40 for.

We stopped in for a late lunch and were very happy with our choice! The restaurant could use some updating, but eveything appears clean and maintained. The service was very good! Our drinks were always full and the waitress stopped by every few minutes to check on us. The food came out hot and fresh and without a lot of delay. The chicken breast was perfectly juicy and the chimichanga was amazing! Excellent stop, and not far off Interstate 40 or Route 66!

The Mexican was not that good. My cheese enchilada was cold. It took over 30 min for them to bring our appetizer, and then another 20 for the actual meal.

This was by far the absolute worst meal I have ever had in my life. All the food was bland, tasteless and felt watered down. Which could explain why half of it was cold. I had the perricco's with rice and beans, my husband had nacho supreme and my daughter has mac n cheese with veggies. The mac n cheese was Kraft easy mac for sure. The veggies were overcooked and looked horrible. The beans tasted like mold I literally had one bite and was like "we have to leave" to my husband. I honestly can say this is our 2nd meal in Winslow and will pretty much be avoiding eating in this "historic" town ever again. Just gross. If I could rate this lower I would.

Server was fantastic. Chili was good but not great. Kids mac & cheese looked like Kraft. Corn was very watery. Reuben was good. Good balance of meat, dressing and sauerkraut. Fried mushrooms were wonderful. Kids meals are considerably over priced. Overall a good experience.

This is not your upscale restaurant by any means so if that's what you're looking for, move on.This place is dated and somewhat run down but as I stated earlier, the food is great!

Fantastic food and service. The cream pies are to die for. Got told local history by the man checking us out and went to go see the standin’ on the corner mural and statues.

Here on a SATURDAY AFTERNOON enjoying my Hamburger Steak dinner postedoposted their Saturday Special sign as you come into the restaurant..... You would think that if the restaurant list a "SPECIAL" it would be cost LESS.. But it the same Price/Cost on their main menu...LoL 😂 it's a SPECIAL but not a Special Price.????

Amazing place to eat they have a good menu. The staff are very welcoming and extremely friendly. The are an amazing team here.

Staff friendly. They were very busy but they still had the food out in a timely manner. Food was acceptable. I had biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were perfect, they need to make real home made gravy instead of instant it only takes a few minutes and it's way better.

We liked our dinner there Sunday night so much, we had to go back for breakfast. It's home style cooking and friendly people. If we lived here, we'd be regulars.

Reminds of Ed's Fish & Chips with a bar included. The waiter was very helpful in suggesting local attractions to visit in Winslow. Had no problems with my order or service. Definitely will stop by again while traveling the I-40 corridor.

Green chili soup was amazing and the service friendly. The wait for the restroom... Not so much... Lol enjoyin an afternoon out its a great quick stop for something light or more filling.

Burgers and fries r awesome but the Mexican food is not very good at all

Been to this restaurant a couple times now and I've been very satisfied with the food and service. Prices are decent. Expect to pay around $10 for a plate but you will usually get a very good portion of food.

Good food, both American/Mexican. Fed a family of four at a reasonable price and the service was good. Worth a stop if in the Winslow area/Rte. 66.

Absolutely amazing! This is an amazing, family owned diner, with great service and amazing food! It is laid back, comfortable and a must stop if you are in Winslow!

I loved the staff! U can take drinks to go and the server I got was so nice! I love the fish and all is very affordable! I will definitely come back some day! The only thing is that I didn’t get to finish due to the size and I’m small too so yea. I highly recommend it!

Can't give zero stars. Don't know about food. Waited too long. Left without eating. Probably for the best. Staff were not wearing gloves or washing hands ( wait staff, kitchen)

Waitress serves the white customers first & she makes sure their cups stays full. We(Natives) only had 1 cup of coffee & water.

The Falcon Restaurant is a must eat! Be careful not to pass by. Also in town be sure to stay at the La Posada.

Ya gotta luv that old homestyle diner feel to luv this place. If your looking for modern, you're in the wrong place. The food was as described on the menu and tasty yet filling! A little Mexican with basic American cooking!
